Life happens in the moments outside routine.
Exciting events. New activities. Memorable experiences.
We want to discover them… do them… share them.
Pique is a social app singularly focused on things to do. “What’s going on this weekend?” “When is that band playing?” “What do my friends like at this place?” “Who has the best burger around here?” “Where can we go that’s new?” Pique helps your network and your city provide those answers directly.
No news links, family pictures, political commentary, or gossip -- just content about things to do.
Here’s how it works: Pique users add location and tags when they post. (They have to.) Pique then uses those markers to organize all that social content into an index of experiences and venues. Combine that with….
...best-of-breed event discovery,
...the saving of content to remember upcoming events and experience-bucket-lists,
...direct-messaging designed for discussing things to do, and
...profile pages that turn your social posts into organized collections of experiences…
and you have a one-stop shop all about doing stuff!
Oh, yeah, one more thing…..
Pique also has Hooks. These are new. Really. Hooks are virtual sticky notes you leave for friends where you go. They find them when they’re out and about.
Hooks are fun. We use them to give suggestions to our friends at restaurants, memorialize good days or legendary nights out, and leave “thinking of you” notes around town. Hooks are magic for budding romances and scavenger hunts, but we usually just leave funny messages for mates.
